The Auburn Tigers will be facing the Alabama Crimson Tide in the Iron Bowl on Saturday. The kickoff for this matchup will be at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC. This season, Auburn is 5-6 and Alabama is 8-3. The Tigers are looking to become bowl-eligible and the Crimson Tide are looking to keep their slim college football playoff hopes alive.
There is something crazy that always occurs between the Tigers and the Crimson Tide. One player to watch for on the Auburn Tigers is linebacker DeMarcus Riddick, who is only a freshman.
Auburn Tigers Linebacker DeMarcus Riddick Makes Comments About Alabama Crimson Tide Wide Receiver Ryan Williams
To no surprise, there is always going to be trash-talking when two rivals play one another. On Monday, freshman linebacker DeMarcus Riddick decided to open up his mouth about Alabama Crimson Tide freshman wide receiver Ryan Williams. Riddick said:
“Ryan Williams ain’t no big-time player to me… I will not lose to Bama while I’m here.”
That is such a bold statement. Auburn is not better than Alabama on paper at all. Ryan Williams this season has caught 42 passes for 804 yards receiving and eight touchdowns, along with averaging 19.1 yards per reception.

It is going to be interesting to see what happens in the latest edition of the Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide rivalry. It would not be a surprise to see Ryan Williams go off in this game and have DeMarcus Riddick eat his own words.
