The North Carolina State Wolfpack finished with a 6-7 record last season under head coach Dave Doeren. The Wolfpack will look to be better during the 2025 season in college football.
It will be tougher for the Wolfpack to have success this season with the conference getting better. North Carolina State will look to surprise people in the conference this season.
North Carolina State Wolfpack Schedule Announced
The North Carolina State Wolfpack will begin the 2025 college football season against the East Carolina Pirates. It will be played on Thursday, August 28. North Carolina State will begin ACC conference play against the Virginia Cavaliers the following week on September 6.
North Carolina State will face the Duke Blue Devils on the road on September 20. On October 11, the Wolfpack will also face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on the road. Notre Dame lost in the National Championship Game against the Ohio State Buckeyes.
The North Carolina State Wolfpack will face archrivals, the North Carolina Tar Heels on Saturday, November 29. Those are two programs that do not like each other.

I don’t see 6 wins

I like this schedule. It’s not daunting, provides well timed bye weeks and the Campbell game should provide another reset opportunity. Now we need to be fully invested to add game changers on defense in the portal from now til end of April. Especially up front along the DL.

8-4 at best. Per usual. Per every god forsaken year of the Dave Doeren era

Virginia is a non-conference game. I like that.

It was probably a mistake on the schedule about Virginia being a non-conference game. The Cavaliers are also in the same conference as the North Carolina State Wolfpack. It would be interesting to see where North Carolina State would go as a program if they didn’t win at least six games again next year.
