Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Bryce Huff has not played since November 14 against the Washington Commanders because of a wrist injury. He has been on injured reserve since then. On Wednesday, the Eagles opened Huff’s practice window to return to game action potentially.
The Philadelphia Eagles, who are 12-2 this season, will face the Washington Commanders (9-5) on the road this weekend. If Philadelphia wins, they will win the NFC East Division.
Philadelphia Eagles Fans React To Bryce Huff Returning To Practice
Not only is the fanbase excited to get Huff back potentially, but so is head coach Nick Sirianni. This is what some of the Eagles fanbase had to say about Huff returning to practice:
Huff was finding himself before the injury so you imagine now with Huff back within a Week or two helps the Defense that was on a 3 Man Rotation

Let’s go Bryce. He was just figuring it out before he got hurt.

Bryce Huff was getting hot before he got hurt but I don’t know if having him back would work.

Getting even more defensive line depth. Scary hours!

Ngl I forgot we had Huff 😭
— James Holland (@jamesholland021) December 18, 2024
This season with the Eagles, he has 10 total tackles, 2.5 sacks, and one forced fumble. Adding Huff back to this defense before the end of the regular season or for the postseason will be huge for them.
Potential Number 1 Seed In the NFC
There is a chance that the Eagles can get the number one seed in the NFC, but they are the two seed in the NFC at the moment. Philadelphia is trying to be the number one seed over the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings. Detroit and Minnesota are both 12-2 this season as well.
The Eagles have been playing well right now because of running back Saquon Barkley. Philadelphia hopes Huff can make an impact on the defense.
