Dallas Cowboys star player Micah Parsons has one-year remaining on his contract and he has held out and also requested a trade. Well, Parsons is dealing with other issues now as he is dealing with a back injury.

According to NFL Network’s Jane Slater, she is reporting about Parsons,

“No he’s not headed to Cabo. I’m told Micah Parsons is getting a second opinion on his back per a source informed. The #Cowboys are off until Friday.”

This is interesting that his back injury is being talked about now. Did Parsons have this back injury or is this an “injury” for him to not play for the Cowboys? Is he injured until he gets traded to a new team?

Dallas Cowboys Fans are Skeptical About Micah Parsons Back Injury

There are Cowboys fans who are skeptical about Parsons’s back injury. They feel like this all of a sudden has come out of the blue. This is what some Dallas fans had to say about it on Twitter:

I’ll bet if he signs an extension or is traded to another team his phantom back injury goes away.

I wonder if he hurt his back more when he was laying down on the training table with his antics Friday pic.twitter.com/L6qcvsKu3F

Exactly — if they’re already seeking a second opinion this close to kickoff, it usually means the concern is significant or more delay is in site. Eight days isn’t much time for clarity, let alone recovery. #CowboysNation

Second opinion on his back that really looked so painful for him when he was sprawling out all over the trainers table asleep at the game the other night. Typically your agent in this scenario should say hey man.. not a good look all around right now. But the agent is also part…

There are some Dallas fans who are questioning this “back injury” for Parsons no doubt. It will be interesting to see what happens with his back injury. There were rumors going around the other day that he would be potentially traded to the Green Bay Packers, but that obviously did not happen. This soap opera is going to continue between Parsons and owner Jerry Jones. Parsons not playing at all for tis franchise in 2025 whether he has an injury or not is a real possibility.
