Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is one of the dual-threat quarterbacks the NFL has ever seen. Jackson has won multiple MVPs in his career but has yet to been to a Super Bowl.

On Tuesday, it was approved that NFL players can compete in flag football during the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, California. It is going to be interesting to see which players from the NFL will be chosen from the team. There are a lot of ways that Team USA could build its potential roster.
One NFL Executive Would Choose Baltimore Ravens Lamar Jackson As Its Quarterback

Matt Lombardo of Between the Hashmarks got insights from different NFL executives and coaches about who would be there number one pick when building the USA flag football team. One executive would take the Ravens star quarterback as its number one pick. They said,
“Lamar Jackson…He’d run circles around these international teams.”
Jackson during the 2024 season with Baltimore completed 66.7% of his passes for 4,172 yards, 41 touchdowns, and four interceptions. He also rushed for 915 yards on 139 carries and four touchdowns, along with averaging 6.6 yards per carry.
Playing flag football is going to be totally different than trying to be tackled in the NFL. Jackson could no doubt be one of the top choices for Team USA in the Olympics. Some other mobile quarterbacks to potentially watch for will be Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, and Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels.
Jackson could very well be the Team USA quarterback for 2028. It is going to be interesting to see who else will be on the roster outside of Jackson potentially.
