The Cleveland Browns drafted quarterback Shedeur Sanders in the fifth round in the 2025 NFL Draft from the Colorado Buffaloes. It was a surprise to see Sanders slip all the way to the fifth round after being projected as a first round pick.

With mandatory minicamp beginning on Tuesday, the Browns quarterback battle is heating up between Sanders, Dillon Gabriel, Joe Flacco, and Kenny Pickett. Everyone would have their eyes on what Sanders would do during mandatory minicamp.

It was an absolute strike from Sanders on that throw. These are the kind of throws that are getting Browns fans excited for him. For now, he is fourth on the depth chart for Cleveland. However, things can change between now and training camp.

I need to see these plays at least against the 2s consistent before we start having the conversation

@TheRealTRizzo is beyond nauseating with this. I like Sanders but this clown won’t stop. If Sanders fails it’s going to be all excuse radio from Rizzo.

What does shedeur gotta do to get out one 2nd team and get 1st team reps?

    That’s a dot 🎯

Well, there are some Browns fans who will want to see Sanders start in Week 1 and some fans who don’t want him to be thrown into the fire Week 1 for Cleveland. They will have a difficult schedule to begin the 2025 NFL season, and they may not want to ruin his confidence early in the season.

It will also depend upon what will happen in preseason games. Sanders can continue to impress, but Flacco or Pickett will most likely be the Week 1 starter for the Browns.
