The Baltimore Ravens won the AFC North division once again during the 2024 NFL season. Baltimore was the third seed in the AFC.

The Ravens took down the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first-round, but Baltimore lost to the Buffalo Bills on the road in the second-round. A lot of questions surround quarterback Lamar Jackson. A lot of people blamed Jackson for the playoff loss, but a lot of people also know that tight end Mark Andrews cost the Ravens the game against the Bills with his fumble in the fourth quarter and also that dropped two-point conversion.
Former NFL Player Questions Baltimore Ravens Quarterback Lamar Jackson Entering the 2025 NFL Season

Former NFL player Emmanuel Acho was on the show The Facility on FS1 on Monday morning talking about Lamar’s playoff failures. He has yet to appear in a Super Bowl despite having two MVPs in his NFL career. Also, Baltimore will begin mandatory minicamp on Tuesday.
Acho said about Jackson entering the 2025 NFL season,
“Lamar Jackson has to be special in the playoffs. If you’re going to be one of the greatest of this generation, you have to be that in the playoffs as well.”
During the 2024 regular season, Jackson completed 66.7% of his passes for 4,172 yards, 41 touchdowns, and four interceptions. He also rushed for 915 yards on 139 carries and four touchdowns, along with averaging 6.6 yards per carry. A lot of people either voted for him or Bills quarterback Josh Allen for MVP in 2024.
Allen won the MVP. However, at some point quarterback Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs will not be getting back to the Super Bowl. Mahomes has been better in the playoffs in his career and so has Allen compared to Jackson.
During the 2024 postseason, Jackson completed 73.9% of his passes for 429 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. He also rushed for 120 yards on 21 carries and zero touchdowns, along with averaging 5.7 yards per rush. Jackson was not the reason why this team lost to the Bills during the 2024 postseason despite having a fumble loss in the game against Buffalo as well.
Until Jackson gets to a Super Bowl or at least one win, he is going to hear the unwanted outside noise and critics from others. Jackson is one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL no doubt, but they will keep questioning about his playoff performances despite the great regular seasons he has had.
