The Kansas City Chiefs have remained undefeated entering Week 11 despite losing several key players in the early season. The Chiefs are set to lose another important player for several games.
Kansas City made moves before the trade deadline for reinforcements. They brought in DeAndre Hopkins to help replace injured receivers Rashee Rice (knee) and Marquis Brown (shoulder). Their trade for Josh Uche will help with the pass rush. The Chiefs were unable to trade for Marshon Lattimore to fill in the hole left by Jaylen Watson’s season-ending ankle injury.
The 9-0 Chiefs are preparing to travel to play the 8-2 Buffalo Bills on Sunday at Highmark Stadium. They will do without another player.
The Kansas City Chiefs place Harrison Butker on IR
Per Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Chiefs are losing Harrison Butker to injured reserve for a knee injury.
“Chiefs K Harrison Butker is expected to have surgery to trim his meniscus in his left knee, per source,” Rapoport posted on X. “That’s why he’s headed to IR, though he’ll be back for the home stretch and playoffs.”

Shrader is an undrafted rookie out of Notre Dame. The Indianapolis Colts initially signed the 25-year-old in April. He joined the Jets practice squad in October when Greg Zuerlein was placed on injured reserve. The native of Indianapolis, Indiana made all three of his extra point attempts for the Colts’ during their 29-27 Week 1 loss to the Houston Texans.
