Haason Reddick has lost a ton of money in just 5 games alone this season so far, and it looks like he will continue to take significant losses as he keeps his holdout going! The New York Jets continue to not have Reddick in the building, and he’s taking some serious financial blows for this holdout.
There have been whispers that he may end the holdout because of the recent firing that took place for their organization, but with each game that goes by, he is losing some crazy money!
Haason Reddick Continues To Take Huge Financial Losses For Holdout
The star defender has yet to play in any of the Jets’ first five games this season, and he is losing $800,000 per game! Through five games, that means the star has lost just over $4 million. In addition to that, he’s been fined over $5 million! That is an insane amount to lose over a holdout, and it must mean that Reddick must feel that strongly about not playing that he is willing to lose millions because of that.
Jets holdout edge rusher Haason Reddick already has missed five games, forfeiting nearly $800,000 per game, totaling over $4 million. On top of this, he has accumulated more than $5 million in NFL-mandated fines. https://t.co/FSVvjpxgah

Now it makes a bit more sense, why his agency CAA parted ways with the elite defender as he continues to lose tons of money. Reddick has said that he has not gone to the Jets because they refuse to give him a long-term contract. He requested a trade at the beginning of the season, but the team is not going to honor his request it appears, and will allow the star to continue to lose his money because of the holdout.
What is Next For Haason Reddick
The future for Reddick does not look good at all as he continues to lose so much each game, and he is now representing himself as his agency dropped him.
He will probably not even get the long-term contract he is hoping for in general from any NFL team, as he has shown that he is willing to hold out indefinitely. The Jets will surely not give him along term contract, and if he ends up getting traded to another team, he will probably play for much less than he would’ve if he had played this season.
It does not make much sense why is he doing this at this point, as he may be forgoing tons more money in the future while he still takes huge losses every game this year.
Hopefully he gets some better advice and makes a comeback to the field.
