One of the biggest stories for the Green Bay Packers offseason is the uncertainty, at least among fans, regarding the cornerback position. Of course, the biggest question at the position is whether or not two-time Pro Bowler Jaire Alexander will return, be traded, or be released. His displeasure with the organization, as well as their frustration with his injury history, is well-documented. Still, many fans are hopeful that the two sides will come to an understanding and that he will back.
In addition to Alexander’s situation, the Packers also saw three of their cornerbacks depart in free agency. Eric Stokes, their 2021 first round pick, signed with the Las Vegas Raiders. Corey Ballentine joined the Indianapolis Colts. Finally, Robert Rochell signed with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Unfortunately, Rochell is looking for a new team already.
Former Green Bay Packers Cornerback Robert Rochell Was Released by the Kansas City Chiefs

On Monday night, it was reported that Rochell, who was signed by Kansas City on March 28, had been cut by the team following their rookie mini camp:

Kansas City now has a roster spot open, which may be used on one of the players that they had in for a tryout during their rookie mini camp, which was held over the weekend. One of the most notable players that was invited for a tryout with the Chiefs is Graham Walker, whose brother is the team’s star quarterback, Patrick Mahomes.
Rochell spent the 2023 and 2024 seasons with the Packers, though he only played one defensive snap in that time. However, he played 112 special teams snaps in 2023 and 121 last season.
Prior to his short time in Green Bay, Rochell spent two seasons with the Los Angeles Rams, and won a Super Bowl with them in 2021.
