The Green Bay Packers showed off their resiliency on Sunday with a massive come-from-behind victory against the New Orleans Saints. After being down 17-0 at halftime, Green Bay turned it around after the break to escape with an impressive 18-17 victory in Lambeau Field.
Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love Sounds Off on Criticism

The architect behind the comeback is none other than Jordan Love. The young quarterback has been playing under a microscope after the departure of Aaron Rodgers this summer. There are some massive expectations of this young man, and so far, the 24-year-old has lived up to the hype.
Love completed 22-of-44 passes against the Saints for 259 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. It wasn’t a mind-blowing performance by any means, but the Packers‘ new cornerstone quarterback was integral in his team’s comeback in the second half.
After the game, Love delivered a special message for the naysayers who have and continue to doubt him at this point in his career. When asked if he’s affected by any of the outside noise, the former first-round pick got brutally honest in his response.
“Yeah, man, it’s out there for sure,” Love said, via Mike Florio of PFT. “You know, something that I’ve been hearing a lot of that stuff since I got drafted. It’s one of those things that it’s kind of in one ear, out the other . . . because I know the position I’m in. All quarterbacks in the NFL are in a pretty scrutinized position. You know, you can’t let that stuff affect you. I just stay true to who I am and confident in myself, confident in my team. I don’t get you know flustered by anything I hear or anything that’s out there because, you know, who are they to tell me who I am as a player?”

While he is no Aaron Rodgers — or at least not yet — Love has been outstanding in his first three games of the new season. He kicked things off with an unfazed performance against their bitter rivals, the Chicago Bears, in Week 1, and Love just hasn’t taken his foot off the gas since.
Sunday’s performance was a testament to this young man’s resiliency and his ability to thrive under pressure. It was a lackluster effort not only for Love in the opening half, but for the rest of the squad as well. However, under their quarterback’s leadership, the Packers did a magnificent job of turning the tables in the second half.

It’s a short turnaround for Love and Co., who are now 2-1 to start the season. They return to action on Thursday in a highly-anticipated rivalry battle against the Detroit Lions, who at 2-1, are tied with Green Bay for the top spot in the NFC North.
