Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson and his wife, Lakyn Adkins, are expecting a baby boy soon. On Monday, Adkins shared a couple of photos on Instagram, one that shows her and Watson and another showing just her in a room. Both photos show her pregnant belly, as she’s clearly excited for the blessing that’s about to come for her and the Packers star wideout.

Watson and Adkins got married just last April at the Stone Mountain Estates in Malibu, California, with over 80 guests attending the event. Also present in their wedding were other Packers players like Jordan Love, De’Vondre Campbell, Aaron Jones, Bo Melton, Josiah Deguara, Samori Toure and Romeo Doubs, according to People.
Green Bay Packers’ Matt LaFleur speaks up on Watson’s injury rehab progress

As Watson and Adkins await the birth of their child, he is busy getting his body ready for a return to action as soon as possible following a season-ending injury in the 2024 season. Watson sustained a torn ACL injury in a late-season game against the Chicago Bears, which forced him to miss the 2024 NFL playoffs.
The former North Dakota State Bison football star recently joined the Packers in the minicamp for rehab work, though, it doesn’t seem he’s anywhere close to top form.
“Probably not, to be honest,” Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur said about the potential for an early return for Watson, per Wendell Ferreira of AtoZ Sports. “The guys that are available, that’s who you coach, and that’s kind of where you focus. It is exciting to see how far along he is. He’s been doing a great job. He attacks it the right way. Our trainers have done an outstanding job with him. I think he’s in the best spot possible considering the circumstance.”
