Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Pickups: Week 13
Quarterbacks
QB Jameis Winston, Cleveland Browns (Rostered: 15%)
Jameis continues throwing the deep ball in rain, shine, or even snow. In last week’s ‘Snow Globe Game’ he threw for 219 yards 1 TD and 1 rushing TD. If you’re looking for a streamer this week he’s still a solid Quarterback, fun to watch as well.

QB Russell Wilson, Pittsburgh Steelers (Rostered: 36%)
On the other side of the ‘Snow Globe Game’ we had Russell Wilson. He put up 270 yards and a passing touchdown. Although he wasn’t off the charts, he’s shown us a solid floor with a tasty Cincinnati Bengals next week that gives up the fourth most fantasy points to quarterbacks.
Mentionables: QB Drake Maye, New England Patriots (Rostered: 19%)
Wide Receivers
WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Tennessee Titans (Rostered: 12%)
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine scored his sixth touchdown of 2024 on Sunday, boosting his fantasy value despite a modest stat line of two catches for 48 yards. The Titans wideout remains a boom-or-bust option compared to other waiver-wire receivers. He’s averaging 5 targets a game and has 3TDs within the last four games. The volume might be lacking, but his scoring potential makes him a viable pickup for a FLEX or WR3 role.

WR Elijah Moore, Cleveland Browns (Rostered: 11%)
Back again! Elijah Moore deserves to be rostered. Since Jameis Winston has taken over at the helm Moore has had at least 5 targets, even in the ‘Snow Globe Game’. Facing a tough defense in week 13 he may not be your starter, but is a possible flex option.
Mentionables: WR Noah Brown, Washington Commanders (Rostered: 10%)
Running Backs
RB Ameer Abdullah, Las Vegas Raiders (Rostered: 25%)
Despite the Raiders’ struggles in the run game this season, Abdullah made an impact against a tough Denver defense ranked eighth in rushing yards allowed. In Week 12, he led all Raiders receivers with four catches and a touchdown in the first half alone and outpaced all Raiders running backs in carries.
While his role hinges on the availability of Zamir White and Alexander Mattison, Abdullah’s strong showing makes it hard to see the coaching staff sidelining him moving forward. As the best pass-catching option in Vegas’ backfield, he could provide a dependable fantasy floor for the remainder of the season.

RB Jeremy McNichols, Washington Commanders (Rostered: 1%)
Late in Washington’s Week 12 loss to Dallas, running back Austin Ekeler sustained what appeared to be a significant concussion, while leading back Brian Robinson also battled a few injuries during the game. McNichols has proven to perform well as the second back while scoring four touchdowns this season. If either misses time, McNichols could become a key waiver-wire addition.
Mentionables: RB Roschon Johnson, Chicago Bears (Rostered: 27%)
Tight Ends
TE Zach Ertz, Washington Commanders (Rostered: 48%)
TE Austin Hooper, New England Patriots (Rostered: 0%)
Hunter Henry remains New England’s primary tight end, but Hooper made a splash in Week 12 with four catches for 59 yards and a touchdown. Though his ceiling is capped by Henry’s presence, Hooper has consistently seen four targets in each of the past three games, scoring at least seven PPR points in all of them. For managers in need of a tight end or a Week 13 fill-in, Hooper is a solid option with a dependable floor.
Mentionables: TE Noah Gray, Kansas City Chiefs (Rostered: 4%)

Defenses
DEF Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Rostered: 45%)
The Buccaneers have a favorable upcoming schedule, facing Carolina in Week 13 and hosting the Raiders in Week 14. If you’re prioritizing a D/ST on the waiver wire, Tampa Bay should be a reliable option.
DEF Dallas Cowboys (Rostered: 28%)
The Cowboys have an appealing stretch ahead, starting with a matchup against the Tommy ‘Cutlets’ DeVito-led Giants in Week 13 and a game against the Panthers two weeks later. With their low roster percentage, Dallas is a strong streaming choice for managers in need.
Mentionables: DEF New York Giants (Rostered: 5%)
