The Cincinnati Bengals were on the road on Thursday night football against the Baltimore Ravens. At one point in the game, Cincinnati had a 21-7 lead and they saw that evaporate. In the fourth quarter, the Bengals scored a touchdown with less than a minute remaining to cut the deficit to 35-34.

Head coach Zac Taylor decided to go for a two-point conversion and it failed. The Ravens won the game over the Bengals 35-34. This was the second time this season that the Bengals blew a lead against the Baltimore Ravens.

Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase had tremendous games for the Bengals on Thursday night against the Ravens and they still lost. A lot of it had to do with the poor coaching by Zac Taylor in the game. A lot of NFL fans were thinking the same thing about the Bengals head coach after the loss against the Ravens. Here is what they said:

That’s enough for me. Fire Zac Taylor immediately after this game.

The Chase Brown fumble changed the game, but Zac has lost the city.

How many games can you outplay your opponent and lose?

Up 14 with the ball to bury them in the third quarter and it turns into that.

Jamarr Chase has 457 yards and 5 TDs against the ravens this year. We are 0-2. Joe Burrow has 9 TDs and 820 yards against the ravens this year and are 0-2. FIRE ZAC TAYLOR

You should never ever ever ever lose a game when you get these performances for your QB and WR1. They’ve done it twice this year. Fire Zac Taylor tomorrow. pic.twitter.com/qp0qcVEV2p

Fire Duke Tobin and Zac Taylor, to be honest. https://t.co/CLtpaDTlPq

    (I hope this doesn’t happen)

If the Bengals lose to the Chargers next week, the season is basically over, fire Zac Taylor and regroup during the bye week. #RuleTheJungle #Bengals

That is interesting that someone thinks that if the Bengals lost to the Los Angeles Chargers next week they should fire Taylor then. Honestly, they should just do it now. He is not the answer for this football team in the long term.

They Should Go After Bill Belichick

Bill Belichick, left, talks with Peyton Manning, right, at the 2024 Manning Passing Academy.

In the offseason, there is no doubt that there will be some NFL teams will be after former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. The Bengals have a star quarterback in Joe Burrow and a star wide receiver in Ja’Marr Chase. All Cincinnati is missing is someone to get them over the hump and a defensive mind.

Belichick is a great defensive mind. The Bengals defense has not been good this season and that also falls on poor coaching. Keep an eye out on that one this off-season if Cincinnati moves on from head coach Taylor.
