The Ohio State Buckeyes always have a lot of wide receiver talent year in and year out. Ohio State over the last several years has produced first round talent at the position and a lot of it has to do with wide receivers coach Brian Hartline.

Hartline played in the NFL, and he is developing them into talented NFL players. Emeka Egbuka is the latest Buckeyes wide receiver to be a first-round pick and Marvin Harrison Jr. was one the year before. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, and others were also first round selections as well. Entering the 2025 college football season, Ohio State’s top four wide receivers on the roster will be Jeremiah Smith, Carnell Tate, Brandon Inniss, and Mylan Graham.
Ohio State Buckeyes Wide Receiver Mylan Graham Could Be Another Non-Starter To Watch For In Game Action During the 2025 College Football Season

Ohio State always has a loaded wide receiver room year in and year out. Smith and Tate will be the top wide receiver options at the start of the 2025 college football season for the Buckeyes. However, The Athletic writer Cameron Teague Robinson wrote about eight different Ohio State players who will most likely not start this season, but they will become good role players or stars in the future for this football program under head coach Ryan Day.
Robinson has Graham as one of the wide receivers who is not starting to potentially watch for at some point during the 2025 college football season whenever he gets onto the field. Robinson said about Graham’s future with the football program,
“Graham, a five-star recruit, spent most of his freshman season playing catch-up after not arriving on campus until the summer, but he’s up to speed now and showed off his talent in the spring.
Though I expect Brandon Inniss to start in the slot, Graham strikes me as a player who can get some snaps as the fourth receiver like Inniss did last year and like Carnell Tate did in 2023. Inniss played 193 offensive snaps in 2024, and it’s clear there are snaps to go around outside of the starting three of Inniss, Tate and Jeremiah Smith.
Graham has decent size at 6-1 and runs well after the catch. I wouldn’t expect him to jump out as a superstar, but he can have an impact like Tate did a few years ago and set the stage for what should be a strong career at Ohio State — a program that produces NFL receivers year after year under Brian Hartline.
Between the wide receivers and tight ends, Ohio State has an embarrassment of riches for a new quarterback to work with. Despite the crowded competition for targets, expect Graham to make his presence felt when given opportunities.”
Smith, Tate, and Inniss will be the starting wide receivers for the Buckeyes to start the 2025 season. Graham will no doubt be in the mix, especially if Ohio State decides to go with some four wide sets. If Ohio State has some blow out games in 2025, there is no doubt that Graham could be seeing the field, and he could either be catching passes from Lincoln Kienholz or Tavien St. Clair assuming Julian Sayin wins the starting job.
Graham is 6’1″ and weighs 185 lbs. It will be interesting to see how often he will see the field during the 2025 college football season. He recorded no stats for the Buckeyes during the 2024 college football season also.
