Democracy may not be the best fit for Elon Musk, at least that was how one Fox News reporter talking to Stephen A. Smith sees the matter.
In one of the recent episodes of “The Stephen A. Smith Show,” the ESPN analyst talked to Fox News reporter Will Cain, particularly about what he believes truly happened that caused the fallout between Elon Musk and Donald Trump.
For Cain, Elon Musk is “crashing out” and has “lost it.” He divided his analysis of the situation of Musk between substance and style.
“Let’s start with the substance,” Cain said. “It is the most boring, but it’s also the most important. Elon doesn’t like the Big Beautiful Bill. Elon has taken it upon himself over the last several months to dig into the government’s finances, dig into every department with, of course, Doge. Look, Elon is a genius, he’s a Thomas Edison-level individual that will go down in history as one of the most important men to grace this planet. He simply is.”
However, despite the “genius” that he is, Cain believes that it is also the factor that made Musk not work in the way things work in politics.

He also added that with how “quirky Musk is, his methods may not always work with how democracy works. In the same manner, democracy may not always work with how he want things to be as well.
“Democracy is messy and full of people of different opinions. And some of those are even within what people think is a monolith, one party, Republicans. But it’s not a monolith. It’s a mix.”
Cain also added that despite Musk’s good intentions of reducing the GDP deficit and improving the economy, the reality of government and politics is that you can never always have your way around things.

While Cain acknowledges how Musk has criticized the One Big Beautiful Bill, he also recognizes how this may be the best possible bill Trump can get, considering how things work.
Elon Musk Cut Ties With Donald Trump, Supports Calls for Impeachment
Tech mogul and billionaire Elon Musk recently hinted at his support for a Donadl trump impeachment. In one of his recent posts on X, Musk agreed on a post calling for the impeachment of Trump and getting replaced by JD Vance.

The post came as part of the ongoing feud between Musk and Trump, which started with their disagreement about the potential impact of the proposed One Big Beautiful Bill. For Trump, he expressed confidence that the bill would impact the economy positively. However, Musk believes that the bill would further increase the federal deficit and would only negatively impact the nation’s finances.
So far, Elon Musk has expressed disappointment and criticism towards Donald Trump.
