Eli Manning, former NFL quarterback, recently met newly drafted Jaxson Dart in the New York Giants rookie camp and could not be more delighted. Manning posted a picture of himself meeting Dart at the camp and shaking his hand.
Jaxson Dart was selected by the New York Giants in the 2025 NFL draft as the 25th pick in the very first round of the draft. Prior to the NFL, Dart played college football for the USC Trojans and the Ole Miss Rebels. In his senior year with Ole Miss, Dart threw for 4,279 yards, scoring 29 touchdowns, while managing six interceptions.
“I’m not flexing…I promise,” Eli Manning captioned the Instagram post showing him meeting Jaxson Dart.

Eli Manning has plenty of reason to feel good about Jaxson Dart joining the New York Giants. Manning himself played for the Giants from 2004 to 2019. Giants fans are hoping that Dart does something really magical for the team in the future. However, he is also not expected to start for the team in the 2025 NFL season. According to recent reports, the New York Giants will start with veteran Russell Wilson as their main quarterback in the upcoming NFL season.
The New York Giants really tanked in the previous NFL season and finished last in the NFC East. In total, the Giants won only three games and lost 14. The Giants played their very last game of the season against the Philadelphia Eagles, losing with a final 20-13 score.

Eli Manning’s Former Team Did Not Have A Great Interview With Shedeur Sanders
On another note, it was recently revealed that Eli Manning’s former team, the New York Giants did not have a great interview with Shedeur Sanders at all. The Giants indeed showed interest in Sanders before the 2025 NFL draft. However, after meeting Deion Sanders’ youngest son, the team changed their minds and managed to bring in Jaxson Dart in the draft.

According to a recent report by Todd McShay, Sanders and the team’s head coach, Brian Daboll did not get along right from the start of their interview. Apparently, Sanders acted so badly with the team that both his family and the Cleveland Browns are threatening to sue the Giants if they leak the footage of the interview.

After being snubbed by the New York Giants in the 2025 NFL draft, Shedeur Sanders managed to be selected by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round as the 144th pick. Sanders seems to have now toned down his attitude after his dramatic draft process.
