Over 24 hours have passed since Ohio State defeated Oregon 41-21, and players and fans have posted various things on social media.
Of course, Ohio State players were having fun attacking Oregon players, and one interaction hit home.
Ohio State Players Troll A New Oregon Cornerback
Class of 2025 Buckeye cornerback Devin Sanchez, who enrolled early at school this winter, was on the sidelines for the game and was seen in a video stating, “Don’t go to Oregon for a shoe deal.”

Ohio State lost out on a cornerback commitment this winter when class of 2025 Na’eem Offord switched from the Buckeyes to the Ducks. One reason was that Phil Knight, the owner and founder of Nike, who is an Oregon Alum, promised Offord a shoe deal, and that’s why he decided to go there.
It’s not a good idea to leave a school you were committed to for another team just because of a shoe deal, and then that school gets crushed by the program you were supposed to attend.
The Buckeyes are probably upset that they lost out playing with Offord, and now they are making sure to rub it into his face that he could’ve been a part of greatness.
Oregon and Ohio State are not scheduled to meet next season unless they play in the Big Ten title or playoffs, but in 2026, the Ducks will head to Columbus for the first time since 2021, where they got the better of the Buckeyes.
