Does Donald Trump have an issue with black wives? That was the question raised in one of the recent discussions in analyst and critic Jason Whitlock’s program.
In one of the episodes of his program “Fearless,” Jason Whitlock and guest Shemeka Michelle talked about the snub the Philadelphia Eagles gave President Donald Trump, and whether it may be about them having black wives or not.
“Why would the point even be that they have black wives? What has Trump done against black women that would make the men feel like they had to side with their wives over Trump? And there’s no real accusation. Everything is false when it comes to what he’s so-called done to black people.”
“Trump hasn’t done anything to black women,” she added. “That’s a false narrative. And I wish we would stop placating women and this silliness that a man would need to stand with them. Y’all are fine. We’re fine.”
However, Jason Whitlock thinks otherwise.
“I understand and get your point, but the reality is black women have convinced themselves that Donald Trump is their enemy,” he said. “And black women have convinced themselves that the Republican Party is their enemy. And they’ve done it for justifiable reasons. And I say that because Joe Biden and the Democratic Party have proven we will give black women things power.”
The issue revolves around the Philadelphia Eagles players who skipped the White House visit after their Super Bowl victory, with some speculating that their absence was influenced by their black wives. Players like Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown, and DeVonta Smith were among those who did not attend, and their decision sparked debates about whether their spouses played a role in their choice.

Critics have pointed out that the players might have been seeking approval from their wives, reflecting cultural dynamics within their relationships.
Donald Trump Gets Snubbed By Eagles Players in White House Visit
The Philadelphia Eagles, fresh off their Super Bowl LIX victory, visited the White House to celebrate their championship with Donald Trump. However, the event was marked by the absence of several key players, including Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts, who cited “scheduling conflicts” as the reason for not attending.

This wasn’t the first time the Eagles and Trump had a complicated history; back in 2018, Trump rescinded the team’s invitation after many players declined to attend due to his criticism of NFL protests during the national anthem.

Despite the absences, Donald Trump praised the team’s performance, highlighting their dominant season and their innovative “tush push” play. He also commended players like Saquon Barkley, who attended the event and defended his decision to spend time with Trump, emphasizing respect for the office.
