Donald Trump has a following that extends into every aspect of our country. Sports and politics have always seemingly been intertwined over the years. Players are (obviously) allowed to have their opinions too, which may not align with their fan base.
However, one player isn’t too concerned with what the public thinks.
Donald Trump Sees NFL Star Defend Playing Golf With Him; Fans Erupt

Philadelphia Eagles’ star running back Saquon Barkley took to social media to defend his time on the golf course with President Donald Trump:
lol some people are really upset cause I played golfed and flew to the White House with the PRESIDENT.
Maybe I just respect the office, not a hard concept to understand. Just golfed with Obama not too long ago…and look forward to finishing my round with Trump !
Now ya get out my mentions with all this politics and have amazing day

According to a source at Delaware Online:
While it’s still in question whether quarterback Jalen Hurts will join his Philadelphia Eagles teammates at the White House, the status of another Birds’ star isn’t.
Hurts’ appearance may still be up in the air, but star running back Saquon Barkley, it appears, will be in Washington, D.C., to visit President Donald Trump on April 28.
A day prior to the visit on April 27, Barkley was seen exiting Marine One with Trump. During the day, Barkley also was seen with Trump at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, according to a report by Dov Kleiman.

This might seem small, but stuff like this goes a long way.
The media-driven stigma around Trump is fading, and the public are no longer afraid to support Trump.
We are healing.
