It is no secret that Donald Trump enjoys attending sporting events. The media has caught him attending multiple major sporting events in the four months he has been in office. However, one NFL commentator didn’t back down from his views.
“I Think An Apology For The S.O.B.” Donald Trump Sees NFL Commentator Go On Tirade (Report)

Many of the big-time games are broadcast on “Sunday Night Football” with Cris Collinsworth. The Eagles and Cowboys will square off on Thursday Night Football in the first game of the season. Collinsworth will be handling play-by-play duties with Mike Tirico. It was Collinsworth who had a lot to say about his political views:
Collinsworth, who played wide receiver in the National Football League for the Cincinnati Bengals, is one of the more polarizing figures in the league. He’s obviously one of the best announcers in the game, but some fans have issues with him, mainly his love for certain quarterbacks.
The prominent NFL announcer mostly sticks to football, though he’s been pretty clear about where he stands politically, too.
Collinsworth has taken heat for some of his opinions, though he’s standing by it. While Collinsworth might be right leaning on some issues, he’s previously blasted President Trump.
President Trump had called out NFL players for kneeling for the national anthem.
“I would say he should apologize,” Collinsworth said of Trump. “They’re not S.O.B.’s, they’re smart, thoughtful guys, they really are.”

He didn’t hold back: “Their version of how to get there is different than the president’s, I understand that, but I guarantee you if the president invited — I can make a list of 10 guys — to the White House and heard their stories, and heard their thoughts and heard how concerned they are about America, they would find the common ground, and they would move this forward.”
“And I think an apology for the S.O.B. comment, right off the top, would go a long way.”
While Collinsworth has criticized Trump, he’s a Republican, according to reports:
If viewers are now thinking Collinsworth is just another member of the liberal media, well, they’re wrong. He is a Republican, so in essence, he becomes the latest in a long line of high-profile people in the GOP to call out Trump.
Collinsworth, 58, has been active in politics off and on since he retired from playing in 1989. The UC law school alum gave $4,600 to U.S. Sen. Rob Portman’s campaign for the Terrace Park resident’s re-election bid last year. Collinsworth donated $5,000 to the Kentucky Republican Party in 2004, according to federal campaign finance reports.
