US President Donald Trump was recently mentioned in a joke by former NFL player Clay Matthews on the first day of the 2025 NFL draft. Matthews, who played mainly for the Green Bay Packers in his NFL career, took a potshot at the Chicago Bears, jokingly stating that the current POTUS has deemed the team to ‘still suck’.
Clay Matthews played as a linebacker for the Green Bay Packers from 2009 to 2018 and then one season for the Los Angeles Rams. In his NFL career, Matthews managed to win the Super Bowl once with the Packers.
“I just got off the phone with the President Donald Trump, [and] he asked me to pass a message along to all 32 NFL franchises. Let me tell you what reads here. It says: my fellow Americans, the Bears still suck” Clay Matthews said on stage during the 2025 NFL Draft, referring to the long-time rivalry between his former team, the Green Bay Packers, and the Chicago Bears.

While President Donald Trump has not responded to Clay Matthews’ statements, the joke was definitely a hit among the crowd. After Matthews revved up the crowd, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell took over. With Green Bay hosting the 2025 NFL draft, it has already been reported that the next draft will take place at Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania.
Donald Trump’s Weight Compared To DK Metcalf, Gets The Internet Roaring
Meanwhile, Donald Trump found himself mentioned in another NFL joke just a few days back. A meme started floating by comparing the US President Donald Trump with Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, DK Metcalf.
The meme stated that both of them weigh the same at 224 lbs. and are also the same height at 6’3”. However, social media users were merciless in trolling the current POTUS, especially since his physique is not as ripped as Metcalf, who easily boasts washboard abs on his lowest day.

“Let’s see how DK looks when/if he gets to his age.” another X user sided with the POTUS.

Some social media users pointed out that the US President. Meanwhile, others continued to bash the president and troll him in the comments.
