Will President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk be able to repair their broken relationship? While a lot of people think that the two personalities have reached the point of no return, one Fox News reporter talking to Stephen A. Smith thinks there is still hope to make amends between the two.
In one of the recent episodes of his program, “The Stephen A. Smith Show,” the ESPN analyst talked to Fox News reporter and political commentator Will Cain about his take on the state and future of the relationship between Donald Trump and Elon Musk.
For Cain, the feud between Donald Trump and Elon Musk is more than just about personalities.
“Now, normal personalities would say, you’ve crossed the Rubicon, this is irreparable,” Cain said. “You accuse me of being in league with Jeffrey Epstein. And he also endorsed a random user saying impeach Trump and install JD Vance. He also did that. And for most people, that would be a bridge too far. We’re not going to fix this.”
However, Cain believes that Trump is not the person to act like that, describing him as someone who “doesn’t hold grudges.
“I don’t think that’s Donald Trump,” he added. “I’m being real with you, Stephen A. Now, I do know this man somewhat. He’s actually forgiving. He actually moves beyond. He doesn’t hold grudges. Oh, he’ll come hard at you if you go with him. But given time and space and the opportunity to heal, he’s shown over and over that he’s willing to do so.”

Cain cited the case of Vice-President JD Vance, who once labelled Trump as “Hitler,” but has found reconciliation with him.
Cain also noted that Trump “looks past it when he needs to.” Which was why, despite the “ugly” state their relationship is in now, Cain still believes that Trump and Musk can find a way to reconcile and see eye-to-eye once more.
