“If Someone Wants Him” Dolphins Make Huge Announcement on Tyreek Hill

The Miami Dolphins once again find themselves in a tough off-season.  After making Tua Tagovailoa one of the highest paid quarterbacks in NFL history, Miami saw injuries and poor play derail their 2024 season.  The Dolphins finished 8-9 and missed the playoff entirely.

Now they seem to be dealing with a whole new issue before the 2025 season even kicks off.

The Miami Dolphins’ star wide receiver Tyreek Hill has been involved in yet another off-the-field incident, which has renewed speculation that he might be traded:

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, General Manager Chris Grier made it clear that trading Hill is not something the team is interested in. He said it would take someone coming in with an obscene trade offer for him to even consider it. But as of now, there is no consideration in trading him.

“That is not anything that we’re pursuing,” Grier said, via ProFootballTalk. “Like I said, if someone wants to come and give me two first round picks then we’d consider it. But, as of right now, it’s not something we’re considering.”

In 2023, Tyreek Hill came close to breaking the NFL‘s single-season receiving yards record. He had 119 receptions for a career-high 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns with the latter two leading the league.

For his efforts, Hill earned Pro Bowl and First-Team All-Pro honors, but fell short of winning Offensive Player of the Year.

Here is a full video of his response:

In 2024 though, he fell back down to earth. First there was his public arrest for speeding in Miami, then there was the chaos at quarterback throughout the year, and finally the team missed the playoffs after losing to their arch-rivals, the New York Jets, in Week 18.

Hill finished the year with 959 yards and missed the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career.

After the game and the season, he publicly mused that he might have played his last game for Miami. He would later walk back those comments, but the damage had been done.
