Dianna Russini, a renowned sports reporter, recently interviewed Washington Commanders starting quarterback Jayden Daniels during a team training session, and the picture attracted some unusual attention. One particular fan went on to drop a sexualizing comment about Russini’s physique, comparing it to that of the Commanders’ head signal-caller.
The comment by the fan was not well-received by many, including award-winning sports journalist Michael Silver. Silver called out the X user, Chad Forbes, who dropped the nasty comment, and remarked that the comment was misogynistic.

Dianna Russini’s conversation with Daniels seems to have taken place before the Washington Commanders could meet the Baltimore Ravens for their third preseason game. The Commanders were atrocious and lost abysmally 30-3, giving the team a three-game losing streak even before the regular season can kick off.
Daniels, of course, did not play in the third preseason game and Washington’s offense was led by Sam Hartman, who completed 12 passes out of 17 attempts. Jayden Daniels has not played at all in this preseaso,n and fans will be eager to see the player on the field as Washington’s 2025 NFL season officially kicks off with a matchup against the New York Giants in Week 1.
Dianna Russini Quizzes Jayden Daniels On Terry McLaurin’s Return
One important topic that Dianna Russini covered with Jayden Daniels at the training camp was about wide receiver Terry McLaurin’s contract extension. The wide-out who has been with the Commanders since the 20199 session put in a trade request last month after his contract extension talks with the team went sour.
“Hundred percent, I feel great about the situation.” Jayden Daniels answered when Russini asked him whether Terry McLaurin will play for the team in the upcoming season.
“I just know that it is all gonna work out, that both sides will come to an agreement and Terry’s gonna be back out here. We’re gonna be throwing some passes to him.” Daniels added.
Dianna Russini was also curious as to how a young Jayden Daniels is managing to work with plenty of veterans in the team. The quarterback answered that his presence in the team is well-liked by the seniors because it keeps them “young”.
