Dez Bryant, retired NFL wide receiver, seemed pretty intrigued by a resurfaced video wherein Tennessee Titans wide-out Tyler Lockett revealed that he was a virgin until he was 30 years old. In the video, which is now going viral, Lockett remarked that he decided to wait until marriage to have sexual relations and that despite all the pressure around him, he wanted to do things right as a devout Christian.
Bryant shared a tweet from the MLFootball X account and pressed that the African-American community definitely needs more people like Tyler Lockett today. The retired NFL legend also admitted wishing that he himself had strength like Lockett.
“I think this needs to be viral because this is the greatest example for the black community. I wish I had strength like Tyler Lockett.” Dez Bryant tweeted through his X account about Tyler Lockett’s celibacy.
“I waited until marriage. I wanted to honor God, and that’s what I believed was right. People around me knew, but I never made a big deal out of it. It wasn’t easy, but I never felt like I was missing out. I just wanted to do it my way.” Tyler Lockett explained in a podcast.

During this offseason, Lockett signed a one-year contract with the Titans for a sum of $4 million. Lockett and the Titans will be kicking off their 2025 campaign with a matchup against the Denver Broncos.

Dez Bryant Calls Cassie ‘No Victim’ After Diddy Was Found Guilty
Meanwhile, Dez Bryant recently stirred the pot when he accused singer Cassie of not being a victim in her relationship with rapper/music producer Diddy Combs, who was recently found guilty of sex trafficking. Cassie was in a high-profile relationship with Diddy for years and was abused physically and emotionally throughout their connection. Cassie’s testimony against Diddy was instrumental in him being found guilty recently.
“Cassie wasn’t no victim…not even close.” Dez Bryant tweeted from his X account.

For his tweet about Cassie, Dez Bryant found himself being trolled mercilessly in the comments section. However, Bryant definitely was not ready to take back his words and continued justifying his stance on the singer. The retired wide receiver remarked that Cassie needs to be accountable for her actions, but that her being physically assaulted by Diddy was definitely unacceptable.
