Brad Pitt, Hollywood superstar, recently made a stop by the ‘New Heights’ podcast with brothers Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce. Pitt, who has been a die-hard fan of the Kansas City Chiefs ever since he was a kid, spoke much about what he loves about the team and the fandom, much to the delight of Travis Kelce, who plays as a tight end for the team.

The Chiefs are perhaps among the most popular and successful NFL franchises in the league today. In the 2024 NFL season, the Chiefs were expecting to score a three-peat by winning three Super Bowls in a row. However, their hopes were dashed by the Philadelphia Eagles, who destroyed them with a final 40-22 score.

“You feel this sense of pride instead of this sense of like, ‘Oh, life’s always against us.’ It’s just kind of extraordinary the way we live through our teams, through you guys and what it means to us.” Brad Pitt said about his love for the Kansas City Chiefs in his very first appearance on the ‘New Heights’ podcast with Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce.

Brad Pitt is currently enjoying the success of his latest movie ‘F1:The Movie’, which has garnered positive reviews. Apart from being an obvious film nut, Pitt has also shown his major interest in sports, especially football. In the podcast episode, Pitt admitted that he has never watched the Chiefs live at Arrowhead Stadium, but would love to someday.

Brad Pitt Enjoys Making Sports Movies

In the same podcast episode, Brad Pitt also confessed his partiality towards sports movies like ‘F1’ and mentioned that he would definitely love to make more in the future. ‘F1’ is, of course, not the only sports movie that Pitt has made. In the past, Brad Pitt also starred in ‘Moneyball’ which became a huge success and a household name.

“I love a sports movie when they work…It’s the greatest. I look back at Gene Hackman and Hoosiers and Redford and The Natural, there’s even something more. Sports for me, even one game is an entire lifetime.” Brad Pitt spoke about his love in making sports movies in the ‘New Heights’ podcast.

Brad Pitt continued to lavish praise on both Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce in the podcast, saying it is truly amazing just how much adversity the players face in their games. He exclaimed that it is “really an amazing metaphor for a lifetime.”
