Sean Keeler Of Denver Post EXPOSED By Coach Prime
Ex-Colorado Reporter Sean Keeler says Sanders is not cut out for the business of coaching sports. Keeler has been publicly vocal about Coach Prime, and the Colorado Buffaloes before Sanders arrived in Boulder. Things seemed like they only ramped up even more when a guy like Coach Prime who is confident in himself got the position.
Keeler took to the 365 Sports show earlier this year to say,
“Oh, I’ve been banned from Boulder but that’s nothing new. No I think it depends on which which colors are in your closet so to speak it.” Keeler also went on to say, “Deion yesterday when I asked him about it he was professional. I give him and, by the way, I give him lots of credit for that. Deion Sanders has been nothing but professional to me. Now that may change…
Criticism in Boulder
Addressing reporters, Sanders had many great things to say about his Colorado team. Sanders strongly feels overall better about the unit that he’s able to put out on the field this year. Colorado has some great skill position players but also needs to show up on the offensive and the defensive line. Colorado had standout players last season but did not have a team, and this year Sanders feels a lot better about the Buffs’ upcoming season.
In February, he challenged Coach Prime in his coaching ability. During the week of the Super Bowl, Keeler released an article with the title calling Coach Prime a false prophet. He went on to say Sanders was the Bruce Lee of BS and the Harold Hill in designer shades before finally alleging that if Coach Prime doesn’t win the CU Buffs coach Deion Sanders is just Ed Reed at UNC all over again.

Coach Prime uninvolved with CBS
The Hall-of-Famer, known for his charismatic and winning approach, left an impression by shutting down two reporters, leaving the room buzzing after the press conference.
The first encounter involved CBS Denver reporter Eric Christensen, who was left perplexed when Sanders refused to take his question. Sanders candidly remarked that CBS was “foul” and insinuated that they were aware of their wrongdoing, leaving the room at a loss for words.
Coach Prime calls out CBS
Sports Illustrated article says CBS ranks Colorado’s Deion Sanders as the second-worst Big 12 Coach in 2024. Coach Prime said he reads these articles.
Sanders’ sentiment seems to be that if CBS ranks him as such a bad coach why does CBS want to talk to him and about him so much? I concur that seeing a man as a has-been, you challenge him. You don’t let him hide behind his network – ask you his question, get his content the way he wants before running back to post it on the site that thinks poorly of you.
Sanders could have answered exactly what was done. Putting CBS on blast, forcing them to publish a negative article about themselves.
