The Denver Nuggets hosted the Los Angeles Clippers for Game 1 of their NBA Playoffs series in the first round on Sunday, with Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix in attendance. Also inside Ball Arena in Denver to watch the contest was former Broncos signal-caller and Pro Football Hall of Famer Peyton Manning.
Of course, the two football personalities weren’t hard to spot, with the NBA sharing a post showing Nix and Manning enjoying the game.

Nix and Manning were both warmly received by the crowd. After all, Nix is coming off a solid rookie NFL season for the Broncos, passing for 3,775 yards and 29 touchdowns with 12 interceptions on a 66.3 percent completion rate. He also finished third in the NFL AP Offensive Rookie of the Year voting, just behind Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels and Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers.
Meanwhile, Manning played just four of his 17 years in the NFL with the Broncos, but he was at the helm of the offense on the field when Denver won the Super Bowl in 2016 against the Carolina Panthers on the grand stage.
Fans have all sorts of reactions to that post by the NBA’s X account. Here are some of the comments:
“goats”
“Peyton at a Denver event once again”
“Peyton just said ‘he’s the man now, yeah’”
“A lot of winners in the house.”
“Love seeing Nix front court for the Nuggets! I am a Believer”
