DeMarvion Overshown, linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys, recently opened up about his injuries on the ‘Up & Adams Show’. Overshown has not had an easy time in the NFL so far, and tore his ACL in both his seasons for the team. The linebacker has been playing for the Dallas Cowboys since 2023 after being selected as the 90th pick in the third round of the NFL draft.
Before making it to the NFL, DeMarvion Overshown played college football for the Texas Longhorns from 2018 to 2022. In the 2024 NFL season, Overshown managed only 56 solo tackles for the team, with five sacks. In Week 14, the linebacker tore his ACL and MCL in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
“Look, if you ask me, it’s training camp. I’m strapping up my boots towards the end of the training camp. I’m flying around. Now we just, you know, we being safe. You know, it’s a long game…Probably start off on the PUP list, but I’m not throwing away, starting off in week one. I’m never throwing it out. I’m working for it. I’m working for that.” DeMarvion Overshown said on the ‘Up & Adams’ show.
“I’ll be out here in training camp.”

DeMarvion Overshown seems to be busy working in the offseason program for the Dallas Cowboys. The Dallas Cowboys too, will be eager to do better in the 2025 NFL season as compared to their last. In the 2024 NFL season, the Cowboys finished third in the NFC East after winning seven games and losing ten. Dallas played their very last game of the season against the Washington Commanders and lost, 23-19.

DeMarvion Overshown Did Not Discuss Contract Issues With Micah Parsons
In the same appearance on ‘Up & Adams’, DeMarvion Overshown was also asked about Micah Parsons. Parsons, a linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys, is seeking more money in his extension deal with the team. However, it looks like team owner Jerry Jones is making things quite difficult for the player.

Overshown admitted that while he does work out with and train with Micah Parsons, the two don’t share things related to business. According to Overshown, it looks like Micah Parsons is definitely frequently visiting Dallas’ training facility for the offseason program.
Sometime back, Jerry Jones made a controversial statement that he discussed Parsons’ deal with the player without his sports agent present. Jones also mentioned that he has spent more than 4 to 5 hours discussing the deal with Parsons, but might not make a solid offer until the draft ends.
