College football fans reacted to Deion Sanders’ statements following the Colorado Buffaloes’ loss to the UCLA Bruins on Saturday. The Buffaloes’ offense scored just 16 points in their fourth loss of the season.
The Buffaloes season started with a lot of promise after their win over TCU, especially on offense. But the team is in jeopardy of not making a bowl game at 4-4 with one month left to go in the season.
Colorado’s offense against UCLA was a disaster. They were held to 242 total yards. Only 25 yards came on the ground in the double-digit loss to the Bruins.
Sanders was asked in his press conference after the game by reporters about the offensive line’s play. Sanders said the offensive line was the reason why Colorado couldn’t run the ball.
Sanders was asked how the team would keep his son, quarterback Shedeur Sanders, clean in the pocket. Per a video posted on Dov Kleiman’s account, Sanders threatened his offensive linemen’s jobs:
“The big picture, you go get new lineman. That’s the picture, and I’ll paint it perfectly.”
Deion Sanders was asked how will he able to keep Shedeur healthy:

College football fans react to Sanders’ comment
Sanders sent a message to his offensive line: Play better, or I’ll replace you.
Some fans agreed with Sanders’ statement. Others criticized the first-year Colorado head coach for passing the blame. Here are the best takes on Sanders threatening the offensive line.
Different ways to take this. Could light a fire under his linemen’s asses to improve, which is what I’m assuming he’s doing, or it could make them hate you because they feel like you’re throwing them under the bus

imagine an OL wanting to play for this guy when he is just going to blame you for every loss.

Or Deion, maybe coach your players a little better. Take some blame for your team sucking.

what a great coach! this is the best way to deal with a weak point of your team.

Way to take ZERO coaching accountability Deion…

I fw Prime but he keeps throwing his players under the bus and that’s kinda contradicting to the type of coach he paints himself to be

Throwing your linemen under the bus (when you won’t do anything to help them schematically – like run the ball every now and then) is a poor coaching move.

He will be an epic failure as a coach. All style. No substance
