The Colorado Buffaloes have been the talk of CFB since the arrival of head coach and NFL Hall Of Famer Deion Sanders. Under the microscope, the Buffaloes worked their way to the bottom of the Pac-12 standings and ending their season on a six-game losing streak. In the era of the transfer portal, it is likely much of the Colorado Buffaloes on the field product will consist of many new names and faces.
The new faces will also include new recruits including notable freshman, Nahmier Robinson. The 5’9 170 redshirt freshman by the nickname ‘Too Fast’ played in his first collegiate game in the last game of the 2023 season for the Buffaloes against Utah. Nahmier Robinson is the son of three-time NBA Dunk Contest champion and retired NBA player Nate Robinson.
Scary News For Colorado Buffaloes Redshirt Freshman
Nate Robinson revealed in 2022 that he had been battling renal kidney failure for over four years, in the process of undergoing treatment he revealed many of the hardships that now affect his day-to-day life.
“Some people’s body reject dialysis. And thank God that mine accepts it and I can live… if I didn’t go to dialysis, I wouldn’t live probably longer than a week or two. So it’s serious, can’t miss a day. I go in for four hours, three days a week, four hours a day. And they clean my blood to get my toxins out. And they help me out a lot because that’s how I’m living.”
Robinson was told in 2006 that he must check his blood pressure before every NBA game because of a risk of kidney failure.
Nate Robinson recently revealed to Daily Mail that he does not have very long left living under his current regimen. Robinson is in pursuit of a new kidney, but in the event he can not find a donor, it is unlikely he will live much longer.
“I know that I don’t have long if I can’t get a kidney,” Robinson said. “I know I’m not going to have long to live. So I just want to make the best of it as much as I can.”
