Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver, seems to have a major fan in Jared Verse. Adams will be playing for the Rams for the first time in the upcoming NFL season and will be bringing immense power to the locker room. Verse, who joined the team in the 2024 NFL season, will be following Adams’ lead just like many other players in the locker room.
Adams played for the New York Jets in the 2024 NFL season and before that played for the Las Vegas Raiders for a couple of seasons. The 32-year-old wide receiver started off his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers in 2014 after the team selected him as the 53rd pick in the second round of the draft.
“The first couple days, I was like on edges. Because you meet like one of the greats. So it’s kind of like walking on eggshells. I was a bit one edge, until I walk by him, I’d be a little calmer. Now, ‘I’m talking to him, he’s a great guy but, like, what he can do on the field is nothing compared to the type of person he is. He a great dude… On the field, you see how hard he works, and he’s so laser-focused.” Jared Verse spoke about Davante Adams on Sunday in his appearance on ‘The Rich Eisen Show’.
Meanwhile, Jared Verse joined the league in the previous season after being selected by the Los Angeles Rams as the 19th pick in the very first round. Before joining the league, Verse split his college football for the Albany Great Danes and the Florida State Seminoles.
With talented players like Davante Adams and Jared Verse on their roster, the Los Angeles Rams will hope to do better in the upcoming NFL season. In the previous NFL season, the Rams finished at the top of the NFC West after winning ten games and losing seven. LA made it to the NFL Divisional Round against the Philadelphia Eagles, losing 28-22. The Eagles eventually went on to win the Super Bowl after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs in February.

Davante Adams’ Teammate Praises Head Coach’s Memory
In the same appearance on Rich Eisen’s show, Davante Adams’ teammate, Jared Verse, had loads to say about Sean McVay’s memory. McVay, who has been the head coach of the Rams since 2017, is known for his impressive memory.

Verse remarked that McVay recalled one of his plays against the Seattle Seahawks, which the linebacker himself forgot. Jared Verse admitted that he had to go back and watch the film to realize what his coach was actually talking about.
