Darius Slay Jr.’s wife, Jennifer Slay, recently reacted to the heartbreaking news of a baseball fan falling from the right-field stands at a baseball game. “Truly hate what happened tonight. Can’t help but think about that guy, his family, and friends. I pray tonight for him. Let us think about his loved ones and hug our families a little tighter tonight. I hope he pulls thru. May God Bless you all,” Andrew McCutchen wrote on his X account about Kavan Markwood’s fall during the Chicago Cubs vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game.
“This is insane!!! Prayers for this fan!!!” Jennifer Slay captioned her Instagram post, sharing a picture of McCutchen’s original post.
The fall is currently being treated as accidental in nature. However, many eyewitnesses and social media users have come out to mention that there was something wrong with the entire thing. According to fans who sat close to him, Markwood was intoxicated and also shirtless when the fall happened.

Darius Slay Explains Why He Skipped White House Visit
Darius Slay was one of the missing faces at the recently concluded White House Super Bowl celebration. Among several other Eagles players, Slay, who played for Philadelphia in the last season was also missing.
“I have stuff to do, man. I have kids and stuff, man, that got to be attended to.” Darius Slay said during a Twitch livestream.

For the upcoming NFL season, Slay will play for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Apart from Slay, even Jalen Hurts, the quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles did not attend the celebration. In a statement released by the White House itself, the reason given for the various players not attending was a ‘schedule of conflicts’.
