The Dallas Cowboys will be the 2025 Super Bowl winners, according to former NFL quarterback Troy Aikman. Aikman appeared as a guest on ‘Good Morning America’ this Tuesday and discussed his confidence in the Cowboys winning the next Super Bowl and breaking their long drought, especially after their impressive offseason moves.

The Cowboys have been silently building up their roster in this NFL offseason without making any sudden big movements. Their moves have been pretty calculative and show their keenness on bringing a Super Bowl trophy back home in the next championship.

“Cowboys. Come on, come on. Yeah. Come on!” Troy Aikman said about the Dallas Cowboys winning the next Super Bowl on ‘Good Morning America’.

Troy Aikman played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1989 all the way until 2000 after being selected as the very first pick in the first round of the NFL draft. Before the NFL, Aikman played college football for the Oklahoma Sooners and the UCLA Bruins. In his NFL career, the quarterback won three Super Bowl rings and was named NFL Man of the Year in 1997.

In the previous NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys finished third in the NFC East after winning seven games and losing ten. The Cowboys played their last game of the season against the Washington Commanders, losing 23-19 and essentially being chucked from the tournament. According to recent reports, the Cowboys will play their first game of the next season in early September against the Philadelphia Eagles, who won the previous Super Bowl.

Dallas Cowboys Bringing In George Pickens Could Add Plenty Of Value

While many say otherwise, there are still plenty who are ready to go on record to say that the Dallas Cowboys made a pretty good decision in bringing in George Pickens from the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Cowboys traded Pickens from Pittsburgh for their spot in the 2026 NFL draft.

Despite having a murky past with several controversies surrounding his name, Pickens is still a pretty solid wide receiver and will do well behind CeeDee Lamb. In the previous NFL season, Pickens contributed 59 receptions for the team for 900 yards, scoring three touchdowns for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Steelers were more than happy to get rid of Pickens and numerous NFL analysts criticized Jerry Jones for his decision. Jones was also called out for his personality where he is ready to offer anyone a job with the Cowboys despite their past, just like how he did for Pickens. However, it looks like Jones has plenty more tricks and plans up his sleeve for the Cowboys.
