This week, the Dallas Cowboys face the Atlanta Falcons on the road.  Aside from keeping themselves from falling to 3-5, Dallas is also trying to keep pace with the Philadelphia Eagles (5-2) and Washington Commanders (6-2).

It was announced that they will have a major name in the lineup today on the defensive side of the ball.

According to NFL Network’s Jane Slater:

Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs will be active today per team source. Good news for Dallas looking to contain the Falcons positionless offense.

    She reported earlier Sunday morning:

Al Harris, Asst HC and DB coach out here monitoring Trevon Diggs (calf) pregame.

Diggs practiced Saturday but they are working him out pregame before making a decision on playing status. I asked Harris what he’s looking for specifically and he tells me “His movements.

I know them and want to make sure they are easy for him. Looking to make sure no flawed movement.” When I asked Diggs if he is ready he just said “we’ll see”
