The Dallas Cowboys may be cutting their losses from the 2024 season in hopes to enter a new era in 2025. Paying Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb before the start of the season was thought to secure to Super Bowl pieces for the foreseeable future.
Unfortunately, another veteran won’t be joining them any time soon.
It is not going to take the Dallas Cowboys until the end of the 2024 season to make some major changes. One of the first big changes likely to occur for the team is the release of running back Ezekiel Elliott:
The Washington Commanders are getting ready to face off against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 18, but their opponent is looking a little bit different going into the game.
According to NFL insider Josina Anderson, the Cowboys are releasing running back Ezekiel Elliott, per his request.
Elliott reunited with the Cowboys in the offseason to help bolster the running back corps, but quickly fell out of favor with the offensive plan once again.
