The Dallas Cowboys are seeing one of their own legends make some interesting headlines this week. June happens to be Pride Month, and numerous NFL teams decided to change their logo to support the occasion. However, it didn’t sit well at all with one former star.
“Shoving It In My Face” Cowboys Legend Goes Off About NFL Celebrating Pride Month

It’s no secret that NFL star Dez Bryant doesn’t like Pride Month:
The NFL released a 30-second video telling its audience what “football is” as they came out in full support.
On June 1, to kick off gay pride month in some circles, the vast majority of NFL teams decided to celebrate gay pride and gay love and all that comes with it on social media. The NFL social media account, which serves 37.7 million followers, also amplified teams that posted about gay pride.
At least 12 teams decided to post about gay pride month on their social media.
Bryant was not a fan. Dez has always been outspoken throughout his NFL career, and sometimes, that has gotten him into trouble.
Dez Bryant didn’t share his thoughts on the Pride Month campaign until an old video resurfaced and began going viral. The video was first shared by the NFL in 2021.

“Football is gay. Football is qu**r. Football is transgender. These are wild statements to make,” Bryant wrote on X.
“Excuse my silliness. I’m going to proudly tell my boys football is none of these things. I have nothing against Gays, but this is far from right.”
Bryant’s comments were met with mixed reactions, but he doubled down with a second message.
“It’s gay players in the NFL, but forcing it in people’s faces, especially children, can send the wrong message,” he continued.
“Football is a real community, like the gay community. Imagine telling gays they have to advocate for straight people. They probably would have a problem.”

Legendary Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant had some controversial thoughts on the NFL’s Pride Month campaign.
Bryant, who spent most of his NFL career with the Dallas Cowboys, expressed his frustration when he wrote, “Football is gay. Football is queer. Football is transgender… these are wild statements to make… excuse my silliness.”
Bryant’s social media post sparked debate, and he fiercely defended himself.
In the end, Dez made it clear that people tend to get bothered anytime real conversations come up.
