Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Sheduer Sanders was must-watch television on Thursday night when they faced the North Dakota State Bison in the season opener. Sanders completed 26-of-34 passes for 445 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception in a 31-26 Colorado win over North Dakota State.
During this game, Sanders was spectacular. He was not much of a rushing threat with 17 yards rushing on six carries. Sheduer Sanders will have many more chances to have special games during the 2024 college football season.
Colorado Buffaloes Quarterback Sheduer Sanders Could Be One of the Top Picks In the 2025 NFL Draft
Sanders could very well be one of the top quarterbacks taken in the 2025 NFL Draft. Along with him, Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck could be another quarterback taken very high in the 2025 NFL Draft. Sanders was very good all game long and showed several flashes of potential to play at the next level.
In the first half, he threw a 41-yard touchdown pass to Travis Hunter and a 69-yard touchdown pass to Jimmy Horn Jr. In the second half, Travis Hunter caught a 13-yard touchdown pass and a 3-yard touchdown pass from Sheduer Sanders. The Sanders-Hunter connection is going to be special all college football season long.
New York Giants fans and Las Vegas Raiders fans will be paying close attention to him all season long because they could very well take him in the 2025 NFL Draft. There is a chance that he could be a Heisman Trophy Candidate as well.

Speaking of the Dallas Cowboys, Mike Tannenbaum of ESPN made a bold prediction about Sanders on Get Up. Tannenbaum said:
“There’s a better chance, in my opinion, that Shedeur Sanders could be the quarterback [for the Cowboys] next year than Dak Prescott at this point.”
There is no way that the Dallas Cowboys will get Sheduer Sanders in the 2025 NFL Draft unless they are really bad in 2024 or they trade up with another team. There is still a chance that Dallas also re-signs quarterback Dak Prescott.
The New York Giants and the Las Vegas Raiders will do their due diligence on Colorado Buffaloes star quarterback Sheduer Sanders this college football season. Other NFL teams will do the same. Colorado will be fun to watch this season because of this offense.
