Deion Sanders and Colorado started their 2024 season by beating FCS North Dakota at home, turning around the next week, and getting smoked on the road at Nebraska 28-10.
Colorado had no chance from the start last week, and every unit on their team was overmatched all game long. Last season, the Buffaloes beat Nebraska, but this time, it was no contest, and the hype has seemed to die in Boulder.
Last season, Sanders and Colorado were the big things, and it helped that they started off the year winning their first three games against TCU, Nebraksa, and Colorado State. After that, they won one more game all season, failing to make a bowl game.
The Buffaloes moved from the PAC-12 to the Big 12 this season, and even with the move, it doesn’t seem like they will be able to compete.
Everyone is out on Deion and Colorado now; one big-time talk show host has had enough of them.
Colin Cowherd States Deion Sanders And Colorado Are The Fake ID Of College Football
Colin Cowherd, who hosts The Herd radio show, went after Deion on Wednesday, stating that he is the new Fake ID of college football.
Many who have watched Cowherd the past few years know that he has called Iowa the fake ID of college football, but they have graduated from that position.
Move over Iowa…

Cowherd states that Deion and the Buffaloes can’t hold their own and beat up on directional schools out of conference, but they get destroyed when it’s time to play the big boys.
The talk show host is not wrong here, and Colorado has been all hype with no results so far through a season and two games.
No school in the county takes the Buffaloes seriously anymore, and there is a chance they won’t even win a game in Big 12 play.
Their offensive line can’t block anyone, the defense can’t stop anyone, and the entire team has bad body language and quits when they are faced with any kind of challenge.
It will be interesting to see how Colorado does in their next ten games, but don’t have any expectations that they will turn things around.
