In just under 48 hours, Tennessee will kick off the biggest game in program history this century against Ohio State. While the Volunteers are underdogs by 7.5 points, there is a chance they can still pull off the upset.
The last time the Buckeyes played at home was three weeks ago against Michigan. They were favored over 20 points and lost 13-10, so there is an excellent chance Tennessee can cover in this game and even win outright.
Ohio State’s head coach, Ryan Day, has struggled against SEC teams, losing to Alabama, Georgia, and Missouri. Tennessee has the chance to follow the same path as its conference rivals.
While the Buckeyes struggled to move the ball on offense and throw to their playmakers on the outside in their last game, the same could happen this week since the Volunteers’ defense has the best defensive line in the county and a great secondary.

People who cover college football are liking Tennessee’s chances in this ball game, and they should be after the way we watched Ohio State close out the season.
If the Buckeyes that showed up against Michigan take the field Satruday night, then it is going to be a long night for the fans in Scarlet and Gray, but if they show up as they did against Penn State this season, then Rocky Top will stop playing in the first few minutes.
