The Ohio State Buckeyes are 10-2 this season and they are looking to get back onto the field and tune down all of the noise. There has been a lot of noise surrounding the football program after losing to the Michigan Wolverines. Many college football fans and analysts are calling for the Buckeyes to fire Ryan Day as head coach.
For now, Day is still coaching the program and is trying to get his team ready for the matchup against the Tennessee Volunteers. Tennessee also finished with a 10-2 record during the regular season.
Randy Cross Of CBS Sports Thinks That the Ohio State Buckeyes Will Come Out On Top Against the Tennessee Volunteers
Many people are wondering who will win the Tennessee and Ohio State matchup. Randy Cross of CBS Sports said on Tuesday about the Buckeyes:
“This moment will not be too big for them. I think they’re gonna run the ball effectively. They’re gonna find a way to not make Will Howard the guy that has to beat Tennessee.”
It will be interesting to see how it will play out. The Volunteers have a very good defense and they will focus on stopping the Buckeyes running game. Tennessee will probably dare Ohio State to make them throw it to beat them. The game will be played at Buckeye Stadium in Columbus. Ohio on Saturday, December 21 with kickoff scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

There is no question that there is way more pressure on the Ohio State Buckeyes to win than the Tennessee Volunteers. If Tennessee loses, there won’t be any questions about Josh Heupel’s job security. However, if Ohio State loses, there will be major questions about Ryan Day’s job security.
