The Cleveland Browns haven’t been picked in the first round of the NFL Draft since 2021 due to their Deshaun Watson trade, which sent three first-rounders to the Houston Texans. However, this upcoming April, they will get to see what the first round is like again.
Cleveland will most likely pick in the Top Five of the draft with their 1-5 record to start the season, and they have many positions they can take.
The Browns are going to need a quarterback badly, but there is a chance they will pass up on taking one and try to draft a sure player who will improve the team from day one.
Cleveland needs help on the offensive and defensive lines, and in a new 2025 mock draft, they get some help for their pass rusher, Myles Garrett.
Cleveland Browns Draft A Michigan Star
In a mock draft from CBS Sports, Mike Renner has the Browns selecting fifth overall and taking Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham.
Cleveland has not been able to draft defensive linemen ever since general manager Andrew Berry was hired in 2020, and taking Graham would be a home run.
Graham helped lead Michigan to a national championship last season and would’ve been a Top Ten pick in last year’s draft if he was allowed to enter.
The Cleveland Browns can’t screw up this first-round selection, and they need a guy that can come in and make plays right away, and Graham can be that player.
