The Cleveland Browns have many needs to address this offseason, the first being what to do at quarterback. Cleveland holds the No. 2 pick in this year’s NFL Draft, and many rumors point to the Browns taking their franchise signal caller.
If the Browns select a quarterback with the No. 2 pick, they must find pieces to surround him. One of the roster’s weaker areas is running back. Last offseason, the Browns signed running backs D’Onta Foreman and Nyheim Hines to accompany Jerome Ford while waiting for Nick Chubb to return from injury.
Foreman and Hines did nothing, and Chubb returned and played eight games before breaking his foot. Chubb is a free agent this offseason, and there is speculation that he won’t return to the Browns.
The Cleveland Browns Seem To Be Moving On From Nick Chubb

On Tuesday morning, Mary Kay Cabot from Cleveland.com wrote in her column, “It’s the end of the Nick Chubb era in Cleveland, and it’s sad it has to end this way.”
While the Browns haven’t made it official, they are moving off their star running back. The feeling around the city is that Chubb will never wear the orange and brown again.
Chubb helped change Cleveland’s culture after being a second-round pick in 2018, helping lead them to two playoff appearances.
