Although there is no assurance that Shedeur Sanders will stick with the Cleveland Browns for a long time, the hype around him continues to be intense. It’s a testament to his potential star power in the NFL, where he is still trying to familiarize himself.
Sanders had a controversial (and embarrassing) slide in the 2025 NFL draft, but that hasn’t stopped the buzz about him from getting louder, and that also just got amplified even more following the NFL’s social media post on Saturday, which shows Sanders posing for photos while in a Browns uniform.

“My dawg finna turn the league up”
“Oh Shedeur Sanders ate this look up I love it”
“Sanders going to be QB1 after all the drama anyways.”
“Shedeur Sanders, 5th-round Browns pick, shines in new uniform, aims high.”
While many love Sanders’ look in Browns colors, others have nothing good to say about him.
“Practice squad eligible”
“Should have dropped lower in draft”
“Bro picked 12 like it’ll make a difference”
Sanders looking to establish himself amid crowded Cleveland Browns QB room

Sanders is not without challenges in his first season in the NFL, of course. It starts in the offseason and in training camp, as he operates within a crowded Browns QB room that also features veteran and Super Bowl-winning signal-caller Joe Flacco, along with Kenny Pickett and Dillon Gabriel, who was selected higher in the draft than the former Colorado Buffaloes star.
In the background as well is the injured DeShaun Watson, who could miss the entire 2025 NFL season, leaving the Browns the task of finding a placeholder at the QB1 position.
