Cleveland Browns star defensive end Myles Garrett’s name has been brought up in many trade talks lately since the Browns most likely won’t be heading to the playoffs this season after their awful 2-6 start.

Garrett will be 29 at the end of this year and is already in his eighth NFL season, so there is a possibility that he is heading toward the back half of his career. If the Browns aren’t going to be good for the next few years, then what is the point of keeping him?
During ESPN’s morning show Get Up on Friday, former NFL front office executive Mike Tannenbaum pitched a trade that would send Garrett to the Detroit Lions for three first-round picks, running back Jahmyr Gibbs, and a 2026 second-rounder.

The Lions lost their star defensive end, Aidan Hutchinson, for the season a few weeks ago, and now everyone is linking star pass rushers to the Lions at this week’s trade deadline.
There is not a good chance that Garrett will get moved this season, and the Lions will also be paying a huge price, giving up three first-rounders, one of the best running backs in the league, and another high pick in the second round.
