The Cleveland Browns fell to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, dropping their season record to 3-11. The Browns have had a disappointing 2024 campaign after having high expectations coming into the season. From the injury and all of the drama surrounding quarterback Deshaun Watson to the bottom-tier defense that was supposed to be amongst the best in the league, Cleveland is already looking to next season.
Nick Chubb News
To make things worse for the Browns, star running back Nick Chubb suffered an injury in the game, and it has officially been ruled that he broke his foot, causing him to miss the rest of the season. Chubb came back earlier this year after suffering a horrific leg injury last season, so this new injury could be detrimental to his career going forward.

Chubb has not had a good season in 2024, largely due to the limitation of snaps he has seen to ease him into playing. He only has 332 rushing yards and three touchdowns this season with three games left to play, which is the lowest of his career next to last season. Chubb, who has been considered one of the league’s elite running backs throughout his career, seems like he is nearing retirement.
Cleveland Browns Fans React
Browns fans were devastated to hear that their beloved player suffered another gruesome injury and think that he will retire soon. Here are some of the reactions on social media to the injury news:
