Kirk Cousins’ wife, Julie Cousins, has had quite a week with her kids, Cooper and Turner, as they went to three different birthday parties. Julie Cousins shared an Instagram post, showing her kids playing sandlot baseball with their friends.

Kirk Cousins, quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons and Julie met each other soon after he started playing in the NFL. The two were introduced by a mutual friend and soon hit it off. Sometime later, Cousins proposed to Julie on the balcony of the Speaker of the House’s office in Washington, D.C. They soon got married in 2014 and have two sons together.

“Our third birthday party of the week.. this was 3 hours of sandlot baseball… big hit!” Julie Cousins captioned her Instagram post, showing her two sons having plenty of fun in the sun playing sandlot baseball.

Kirk Cousins has been playing in the NFL since 2012 when he joined the Washington Redskins, now the Washington Commanders. Cousins was selected by the team as the 102nd pick in the fourth round of the NFL draft. After playing for Washington until 2017, the quarterback joined the Minnesota Vikings. Since the previous NFL season, Cousins has been a part of the Atlanta Falcons.

In the 2024 NFL season, quarterback Cousins managed to throw for a total of 3.508 yards, scoring 18 touchdowns, while managing 16 interceptions. With Cousins, the Atlanta Falcons will try to do better in the upcoming NFL season. Last year, the Falcons finished second in the NFC South after winning eight games and losing nine. Atlanta played their very last game of the season against the Carolina Panthers, where they posted an overtime loss of 44-38.

Kirk Cousins May Play For Pittsburgh Steelers

On another note, Kirk Cousins is looking for a new team to play for in the upcoming NFL season, and according to recent reports, the Pittsburgh Steelers look like a great option for him. The Steelers seem eager to bring in Cousins, especially since Aaron Rodgers is still yet to give the team a response.

It also looks like the Steelers are showing way more interest in Cousins that they showed in Rodgers. Aaron Rodgers has kept the team dangling on a thread for quite some time and has not graced them with a conclusive response yet. Some sources close to the quarterback hint that Rodgers may simply announce his retirement from the game altogether without playing another season.
