The 3-13 Cleveland Browns, who currently have the third overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft if the season ended today, will travel to Maryland to play against the 11-5 Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on Saturday afternoon for their regular-season finale. With a loss to Baltimore, a Tennessee Titans victory over the Houston Texans, and a New England Patriots victory over the Buffalo Bills, Cleveland can clinch the first overall pick in next year’s draft. Since the Ravens still have to win to clinch the AFC North, they will not rest their starters, which means the Browns have a better chance of losing.
Cleveland Browns’ promising receiver hasn’t played since Week 12
Browns’ promising number-three wide receiver Cedric Tillman suffered a concussion after being hit on the last play of the third quarter in Week 12 against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football. He has since spent the past five weeks in the concussion protocol. This is the second time he has suffered a concussion in 2024. The first concussion he sustained was against the Cincinnati Bengals during last season’s regular-season finale, and he missed the Wild Card as a result.
The Browns placed their promising offensive weapon on IR
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Cleveland Browns placed Cedric Tillman on injured reserve due to his concussion. As a result, he will miss their season finale against the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday afternoon. The former third-round pick showed flashes of what he could do as a starter, hauling in 21 receptions for 255 yards and three touchdowns (85 yards per game) during Weeks 7-9. He concludes the 2024 campaign with 29 receptions for 339 yards and three touchdowns in six starts and 11 games.
