The Cincinnati Bengals took care of two of Joe Burrow’s most reliable and explosive playmakers this week, signing wide receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to record-setting contracts, and Friday bolstered the offensive line in front of their franchise quarterback.
Free agent guard6 Lucas Patrick and the Bengals agreed to terms Thursday.
Patrick, 31, spent last season with the New Orleans Saints following a two-year stint with the Chicago Bears, after having spent the first four seasons of his career with the Green Bay Packers, after being signed as an undrafted free agent out of Duke, prior to the 2017 campaign.
Last season, the 6-foot-3 and 313-pound Patrick didn’t allow a sack or a quarterback hit in five starts for the New Orleans Saints.
